hi. i'm Jessica!
I used to just be a girl with a camera, falling in love with photography in a dark room in high school. But over the last decade and a half I've become so much more, and it's what has fueled this passion for photography.

Wife to Greg, who has adventured with me, believed in me, encouraged me in this passion. Mom to three beautiful girls who live life with such excitement and curiosity! Lover of life. Greg jokes that I wake up, pop out of bed and mentally announce, "Hello, World!" But I love life. I see beauty all around me, constantly observing light, the marvel of creation, pausing to soak in a moment sure to become a favorite memory. Adventure abounds; whether biking down a new street, on a fairy walk with the girls, or jet-setting to a place where the stars hang upside down. I'm ready to embrace it all.
Looking into my first baby's face, I knew photography would be so much more than random snapshots on a point and shoot camera (back in the day...). I wanted it to capture her every detail, her uniqueness, her personality as it emerged. I wanted to document everything. I set out thirsty to learn more, to create a visible legacy for her, and eventually her sisters. Parenting is the hardest thing I've ever done. Sometimes mind meltingly mundane. Sometimes so bittersweet. But these are the days. The ones I'll remember so fondly when I'm older. I already have moments like that...my baby is 6 already! My heart's desire is to provide couples & families with tangible, beautiful & authentic reminders of their best days to hold as the years whirl by.

WHY I love WHAT I DO
Having spent 15 years growing my art I've learned the technicals of a great image, how to find that delicious light, the classic editing that makes your images timeless.
But I've also become pretty good at being an unofficial bridesmaid, wrangling goomsmen, making that cathedral veil catch the wind just right, getting a smile or laugh out of the most ornery toddler & even balancing a baby on a hip and a camera in one hand so Mom & Dad can pause for a moment for a photo of just the two of them!
I am passionate about capturing authentic moments and genuine emotions. I believe in the power of visual storytelling and strive to create a unique narrative for each client.
My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, creating a time for connection with those you love, allowing your true personality to shine through in every photograph, every treasured memory.
