Sunny Fall Wedding in Saint Cloud

Everything about Meghan and Luke's wedding day was JOY. It was the most beautiful fall day, more like summer, but with the soft golden light of autumn. Meghan was...radiant. There's just no other word for it. She glowed with happiness to be marrying Luke, who, by the way, is probably the sweetest guy I've meet (sorry, hubby!). He treasures Meghan and you can see they love each other and truly enjoy building a life together!

Meghan's parents have the most amazing farmhouse on some of the most beautiful property I've ever seen. We spent a lot of time at their house, Meghan getting ready in rooms she grew up in, pausing for a moment on the classic front porch. After getting ready at Luke and Meghan's house, Luke and the guys came to the Passineau's to hang out in the shade of the blazing orange trees. Meghan secreting herself away in the grove of pines to do a grand reveal with her bridesmaids (they all cried when the saw her)!

After a meaningful and happy mass, that even included Halloween treats from the priest, the bridal party piled on a bus headed for a big old beautiful barn. I love me an enthusiastic bridal party, and this group didn't disappoint! They were up for all of my harebrained ideas and even offered a few of their own! Love it! We headed back to Meghan's parent's house for some golden hour photos of the stunning couple, popped some champagne and it was time to join the party!

Instead of clinking glasses to get Meghan and Luke to kiss, guests had to sing a song with "love" in it. Usually this game has mixed results...not for this wedding! ALL of the bridesmaids had amazing voices and Meghan and Luke had to hurry and shovel in dinner between kisses! Because they love ice cream, Luke and Meghan opted for "Bolls" of delicious homemade ice cream from Scoops for guests instead of cake. So fun and creative!

One of my favorite parts of the night was during the first dances! Luke and his mom danced to Sweet Child o' Mine by Guns n' Roses...but the fun doesn't end there! Dad came skidding onto the dance floor for a rockin' air guitar solo!

It was such a wonderful day and I was so thrilled to be a part of it! Thank you, Luke and Meghan! Here's to many, many happy years together!

A special letter and gift from Meghan.

Luke is an amazing guy! He is so light hearted, kind and absolutely adores Meghan. What a love they share!

Meghan grew up in the most amazing house in the country outside Saint Cloud! What a special memory to get ready for her wedding day here!

I can't look at these pictures without thinking of the song, "The House that Built Me!"

As a mom, this moment is so poignant to me. I can imagine Meghan's mom's thoughts, as kneels in a room full of memories, to help her now grown daughter with shoes she'll wear as she walks down the aisle to meet her new husband!

Reading Luke's letter in a secret little spot of her parent's yard.

How absolutely gorgeous is Meghan?!
