Colleen & Jordan - Rustic Elegant Door County Barn Wedding at Sawyer Farms

Colleen and Jordan had an incredible summer day for their wedding! It matched their sunny, gregarious personalities perfectly.

The day started off relaxed, Jordan hanging with his best guys, Colleen jamming to ABBA's greatest hits as she got dressed, an absolutely sunning bride! Father Ruby gave a meaningful message during the mass, then the super enthusiastic bridal party piled onto the trolley for refreshments and pictures. Shout out to the guys for never complaining about the heat (it was 87 and humid!) in their suits!

Colleen and Jordan wanted to be sure to beat their guests to the reception so they could enjoy every moment of cocktail hour chatting with them. They did an incredible job balancing their day with time for pictures and celebrating with everyone who made the trek up to Door County! Sawyer Farms, where the reception was held, is a new venue and pretty much made for guests to be outside lingering and mingling in the open spaces; I can't think of a better place for Colleen and Jordan to have chosen for this time with their guests! And inside, a fairytale, with string lights twinkling, blue glass jars and vases filled with wildflowers, rustic details and classy touches, it was breathtaking!

If the joy and love these two radiated on their wedding day is any indication, Jordan and Colleen have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them! Congrats and thank you for inviting me to be part of your day!

Colleen surprised Jordan with an awesome watch and a note.

They had custom sunglasses for the bridal party...so the glasses made a few appearances!

Love the succulents in the bouts!

Colleen had a bridesman, he was awesome!

We got to take the dress outside! Always fun when there's a fun spot to hang it! This farm was amazing, and the owner so accommodating. He even offered to pound a nail for the dress!

These are sprigs from Colleen's grandmother's incredible garden, just down the road. The bouquet also incorporated some of her blooms.

The ring pillow was made from Colleen's mom's wedding dress. I just love this idea!

Aren't the invitations adorable?! Birds made pop up appearances in the theme of the decor throughout the day, too!

Colleen's favorite movie is Mama Mia (girl after my own heart!), so we had ABBA cranked for much of the getting ready.

Time to put that gorgeous dress on!

That moment with Mom...gets me every time!

Love letter, framed picture with their first dance lyrics and a gorgeous necklace from Jordan!

Mom and her boys!

Lookin' good, boys!

Time to get married!

I just love this. Bashful to meet his bride's eyes.

Congrats newlyweds!

The look of one happy husband.

I absolutely love any opportunity to do the family shots outside! Makes for great "moments in between" and offers such an incredible backdrop!

Bring on the bridal party!

The bridal party was so not fun and totally unenthusiastic!;)

Taking a moment to soak it in...or a "Titanic" reenactment?!

These two, just so darn happy and cute!

The breeze on the water and her train...!

One last look before going to celebrate!

Of course we had to incorporate the iconic Door County Trolley!

And Colleen and Jordan's favorite beer, New Glarus Spotted Cow!

Nope. We never have fun on a wedding day!

Oh, Colleen! You are stunning!

Party time!

How incredible is this place! So much room to enjoy yard games, mingling, and peaceful views!

Forget photo booths, just put a tractor out and watch the fun ensue!

How cute and thoughtful is this?!

This barn is magical.

I loved the blue glass vases of wildflowers!

The clouds moved in just before we went out for sunset pictures, but it offered a respite from the crazy heat of the day and added to the romantic mood of this location.

One last moment tucked into a willow tree.

Some love to the vendors who work so hard behind the scenes to make the day perfection!
